Abell 21: Ohne [OIII] Filter sehr schwach sichtbar. Mit dann mäßig hell, sehr großer
Nebel. Sichtbar als nach W geöffneter Halbkreis, deutlich strukturiert. Die südliche Hälfte ist kleiner
aber Flächenheller, die Innenseiten sind jeweils etwas heller. In der Nordhälfte befindet sich ein
Knoten am Nordrand, einige meist sehr schwache Sterne sind eingebettet.
Abell 21: Very faintly visible without [OIII] filter. With filter it appears as
moderately bright and very large nebula. It is a semicircle open to the W and evidently mottled. The southern
part is smaller but with a higher surface brightness, the inner sides are somewhat brighter each. In the
northern half is a knot at the northern rim. Some mostly very faint stars are embedded in the nebula.
